The establishment and assignment of tasks to this force took place within the framework of the implementation of Resolution No. 161/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province in 2025. Along with that is Decision No. 5184/QD-BCA dated June 22, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security on the establishment of the Commune Police of Lam Dong province, and Decision No. 50/QD-CAT-PX01 dated July 1, 2025 of the Lam Dong Provincial Police on the arrangement of leaders, commanders and officers and soldiers of the Tan Hoi Commune Police, after merging the Binh Thuan and Dak Nong Provincial Police into the Lam Dong Provincial Police.

According to the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level (Article 3), this force plays a core role, supporting Tan Hoi Commune Police and assisting the Commune People's Committee in protecting security and order; at the same time, building a movement for the entire people to protect national security.

With strategic locations in villages and residential groups, the grassroots security protection teams are expected to contribute to building a solid people's security foundation, promptly resolving incidents related to security and order right at the grassroots level, preventing law violations from developing into crimes and forming hot spots.

Speaking at the meeting, the commune leaders expressed the deep concern of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune and sent their trust and encouragement to all members of the Security and Order Protection Team in the area. The leaders emphasized the essential role of this force in the coming time, expecting that the Security and Order Protection Teams will truly be the "extended arm" of the Commune Police.

The tasks of this force will be very diverse, including: Grasping the local situation, receiving reports from the people, acting as a bridge between the people and the Commune Police, supporting the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. In addition, they also participate in supporting the arrest of criminals, reforming and educating people who have made mistakes in residential areas, as well as performing fire prevention and fighting, rescue and actively building a movement for the whole people to protect national security.

With the spirit of dedication to the people, the efforts of the police force and the grassroots security protection team have always been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party committee, government and people. The meeting is an affirmation of the determination of the members of the security protection team of Tan Hoi commune, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, aiming to maintain security and order, bringing peace and happiness to the people in the area.
