The Ministry of Industry and Trade identifies every day as a peak time for market inspection and control.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien has just signed and issued Decision No. 1825/2025 on the Plan to implement the Prime Minister 's direction to continue to fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the coming time, changes in trade policies between major countries and armed conflicts between countries will impact Vietnam's trade activities. Subjects will thoroughly take advantage of changes in policies and laws, take advantage of the development of e-commerce, delivery and receipt of goods to increase smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, with more sophisticated methods and tricks, causing difficulties for functional forces.

Therefore, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1825 to continue effectively implementing the direction of the Government , the Prime Minister, and the National Steering Committee 389 on the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights in Directive No. 13 of the Prime Minister and Official Dispatch No. 82/CD-TTg.

Decision No. 1825 also aims to innovate thinking and awareness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights, creating strong and substantial changes, requiring the drastic participation of authorities at all levels, especially leaders; close coordination between functional agencies, businesses and people to create the combined strength of the entire political system; taking people as the center and subject, mobilizing the strength of people and businesses.

At the same time, strengthen market inspection and control, strictly handle violations of the law according to assigned functions, tasks and authority; consider this a regular task, every day is a peak point for market inspection and control.

At the same time, create breakthrough changes in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement associated with the process of arranging administrative units at all levels; improve management capacity, define responsibilities, functions, and tasks, avoid overlapping or missing tasks, and leave no gaps in state management.

Previously, implementing the Prime Minister's direction, during the peak month from May 15, 2025 to June 15, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade made many efforts in managing and monitoring the market, ensuring supply and demand of goods, while strengthening market inspection and control, contributing to stabilizing the macro economy and ensuring social security.

The Ministry has issued many plans and documents directing the Market Management force to strengthen inspection and control, focusing on inter-sectoral inspections, surprise inspections by key areas and sectors, violations in e-commerce; goods and sectors managed by the Ministry, especially essential goods serving people's lives; strictly handling acts of trading in counterfeit goods, goods violating intellectual property rights, and goods of unknown origin.
