On the morning of March 22, Vinh Loc District People's Committee organized a training conference to disseminate knowledge and improve capacity for managers and entities implementing the OCOP program.

50 trainees, including leaders and civil servants in charge of the OCOP program, entities with OCOP products, and households producing and trading products with OCOP potential from 13 communes and towns in the district, participated in the training course.
Participating in the training course, trainees were instructed by lecturers of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office on 2 contents about the sequence and procedures for evaluating and classifying OCOP products and the results of implementing the OCOP program.
Currently, Vinh Loc district has 20 OCOP products from 17 entities, ranking 10th out of 27 districts, towns and cities in the province with OCOP products. Of which, 16 products have achieved 3 stars and 4 products have achieved 4 stars, some products are posted on reputable e-commerce platforms such as Viso, Postmart, Shopee, Sen Do...
However, the development of OCOP products in the district is still facing difficulties, ineffective, and not commensurate with the potential and advantages of the district. Therefore, through this training course, trainees will have a better understanding of the knowledge of OCOP product development, and the subjects and production and business households with potential products will have more necessary information to invest in building product brands, contributing to improving the quality of local OCOP products.
