At the training sessions, trainees were informed of new documents of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee on grassroots information work; skills in producing news broadcast on commune-level radio stations, news articles posted on commune-level electronic information pages; skills in planning and organizing information and propaganda work at the grassroots level; skills in resolving conflicts and handling communication crises at the grassroots level; skills in checking and evaluating information and propaganda results. At the same time, they practiced producing news and operating commune-level radio stations applying information and telecommunications technology on the Phu Tho Provincial Source Information System.

Through the training course, the aim is to help the staff working in Information and Communication at the grassroots level in the province improve their capacity, knowledge and skills, thereby applying them to practical work, contributing to meeting the requirements of tasks as well as the information needs of the people in the digital age, creating a bridge between the Party and the People.
