The US Navy aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) arrived in Da Nang on June 25. This is the third time a US Navy aircraft carrier has visited Vietnam. Previously, the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) visited Vietnam in 2018, followed by the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in 2020 - a visit to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the US and Vietnam.

The USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier will visit Vietnam from June 25-30. The USS Ronald Reagan's visit to Vietnam is a normal friendly exchange activity aimed at maintaining peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world .

Recently, naval ships from several countries have also visited Vietnam. For example, two Indian Navy ships arrived in Da Nang on May 19 and the destroyer JS Izumo of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) visited Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa from June 20 to June 23.
