To reap this "sweet fruit", since the beginning of the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province has implemented many effective solutions from information to tourism promotion. According to the report of this Department, in May 2025 alone, total tourism revenue reached 190 billion VND. An estimated 370,000 visitors came to visit (an increase of 40% over the same period).
Many effective tourism activities
To improve the quality of tourism services, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proposed to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize tourism training courses. The province's travel agencies organize tourism programs linking tourism products and services that have been identified.
At the same time, continue the agreement to develop tourism in the Southeast region in 2025. Notably, the "One route - two destinations" tour with the cooperation of Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc opens up expectations for attractive and in-depth inter-regional products.
Many tourism products associated with local cultural experiences have been launched. For example, the model of learning about Khmer cultural heritage in Truong Tay commune, Hoa Thanh town. Through this model, visitors will be able to watch Chhay-dam drum dance performances, costume shows, and enjoy traditional Khmer cuisine. In particular, visitors also have the opportunity to learn Khmer and live with the local people.
In addition, to build 4 special tour programs for out-of-province and international visitors, Tay Ninh province has organized exchange activities with the Provincial Tourism Association and travel agencies to find solutions to attract visitors and survey destinations to build tours for the Lunar New Year.
As a result, the province has built 4 programs with a series of attractive destinations for tourists such as: Ba Den Mountain, Go Ken Pagoda, Cao Dai Holy See, Ba Phong strawberry garden, BaDen Farm melon farm...
The industry also organizes tourism video creation contests in 2025 with the theme "Green Tay Ninh in my heart", supports businesses to participate in the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2025, designs illustrative images to promote Tay Ninh's image identity, etc.
Environmental protection activities are also focused on by the province. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has promoted awareness of responsibility in building and maintaining the image and quality of services for tourists.
At the exhibition space celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh province, the Department also coordinated with relevant units to make short films introducing tourism and prepare exhibition booths introducing tourism in Tay Ninh province.

Green transformation in tourism development in Tay Ninh
Previously, the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to promote tourism and ensure double-digit economic growth. On the other hand, the province checks the quality of tourism services. From there, it detects, prevents and strictly handles violations in tourism. It receives and promptly handles complaints from tourists, preventing stalking and scamming tourists.
Potential for cross-border tourism development
Tay Ninh not only focuses on developing domestic tourism but also has great potential to develop cross-border tourism with a 240km border with Cambodia. As the transport infrastructure connecting the two countries is increasingly improved, short-term tours through border gates and border tourism models will open up many attractive prospects.
The border tourism route is expected to become a unique highlight of Tay Ninh. From there, visitors can touch the national landmark, chat with border guards, experience the culture of ethnic minorities in the border area and immerse themselves in the typical life at the border gate.
