Consulting on the development of a project to innovate, improve the quality and efficiency of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations

On the morning of December 11, the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations (abbreviated as the Union) held a consultation conference to develop a project "Innovating content and methods, improving the quality and efficiency of the Union's operations by 2030, with a vision to 2045".

Chairman of Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations Nguyen Van Phat delivered the opening speech.

The draft project sets out the general goal by 2030, to build the Association into a strong political and social organization of the scientific and technological intellectuals of Thanh Hoa province - a trusted address of the Party Committee and the government in the work of mobilizing intellectuals; representing the will and aspirations of the scientific and technological intellectuals; an important factor contributing to making science and technology truly a breakthrough in socio-economic development. By 2045, it will become a strong political and social organization on par with the tasks of other political and social organizations; at the same time, it sets out the main tasks and solutions for the development of the Association.

Conference overview.

At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed many ideas to build a draft project that is suitable to practical conditions and highly feasible. In particular, the focus is on building the Association as a strong political and social organization of the scientific and technological intellectuals of Thanh Hoa province, a reliable address for the Party Committee and government in mobilizing intellectuals; improving the quality and efficiency of professional activities; proactively advising, proposing to receive tasks and effectively implementing consulting, criticism and social appraisal activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Based on the contributions of the delegates, the Federation will synthesize, supplement and continue to complete the project. Also at the conference, the Federation deployed Decree 126/2024/ND-CP, dated October 8, 2024 of the Prime Minister regulating the organization, operation and management of associations.
