In the first 6 months of 2025, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh city has accelerated the disbursement of public investment capital, considering this a key political task that needs to be focused on, an important and urgent driving force to stimulate demand and promote economic growth in the area.
The City People's Committee regularly directs specialized agencies to remove difficulties and obstacles in disbursing public investment capital and site clearance, avoiding delays that affect project implementation progress.
According to the 2025 public investment capital plan, the province assigned Tay Ninh city a target of VND313.6 billion to implement 56 projects (20 transitional projects, 36 new projects). The estimated disbursement value in the first 6 months of the year is VND166 billion, reaching nearly 53% of the plan.
Of which, ODA capital of 6.1 billion VND for 1 project has been disbursed at 100% of the plan; provincial capital of 42.5 billion VND for 1 project has been disbursed at 18.7 billion VND, reaching 44% of the plan; provincial capital with targeted support of 33.8 billion VND for 6 projects (4 transitional projects, 2 newly started projects), estimated disbursed value is 14.7 billion VND, reaching 42% of the plan.
Capital from the city budget alone is 230 billion VND, implementing 46 projects (15 transitional projects, 31 newly started projects), the estimated disbursement value by the end of June 2025 is more than 126 billion VND, reaching nearly 55% of the plan.
