This is the ship that ran aground in 2023, which has become a famous check-in spot for travel enthusiasts in recent times.

However, due to the ship's long-term deterioration, local authorities have placed warning signs, prohibiting residents and tourists from approaching the ship.

Previously, on February 26, 2023, Thanh Hung 06 ship was on its way from Nhon Trach port (Dong Nai province) to Cam Ranh port (Khanh Hoa province) when it lost its rudder, drifted and ran aground at the moss field of Tu Thien village, Phuoc Dinh commune, Thuan Nam district (former Ninh Thuan province), now in Phuoc Dinh commune, Khanh Hoa province.

Mr. Tran Nguyen Trung Dung, representative of the ship dismantling unit, said that since mid-June 2025, he has coordinated with the authorities to inspect the oil tanks and drain all remaining fuel to prevent pollution of the marine environment. The dismantling and salvage of the ship will be carried out in stages, ensuring safety and no impact on the environment.
