Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Cao Xuan Huynh (living in Lao Cai) said that the video was recorded by a dash cam mounted on a car. After sharing the video on social networks, the male driver unexpectedly received everyone's attention.

According to Mr. Huynh, the incident happened on the afternoon of March 4, while he was driving on Muong Hoa road, from the center of Sapa to Lao Chai commune.

"On the road near Lao Chai commune, a bamboo tree fell down and blocked the way. When I discovered the incident, I intended to open the door and move the obstacle aside to help people move around more easily.

As soon as the car stopped, two foreign tourists rushed over and tried to pull the bamboo tree to the sidewalk. Moved by their actions, I rolled down the window and thanked them," said Mr. Huynh.

Living in Sapa - a place that attracts a lot of foreign tourists - this man has witnessed many cases where Western tourists are willing to help people when they are in trouble.

Mr. Huynh expressed surprise when he saw two tourists bowing and waving for the car to pass after the bamboo tree had been cleared.

"I was really surprised and impressed by their affection and thoughtfulness. The actions of the two tourists, although small, were meaningful and worth learning," said Mr. Huynh.

Witnessing Western tourists willing to help others many times, the male driver believes that, in order to respond and create sympathy in the eyes of tourists, those working in the tourism industry need to pay attention to service methods, sell at the correct listed prices, and help foreigners when they are in trouble or in distress.
