What do you see from the phenomenon of "sold out tickets" of foreign stars?

Charlie Puth's presence in Vietnam is part of the global tour "The Charlie Live Experience". The show in Nha Trang is the opening night for shows in Asia including Vietnam, Hong Kong (China), Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Singapore, Tokyo (Japan) and Seoul (Korea). Seeing the sea of people eagerly and passionately watching Charlie Puth certainly makes event organizers excited. Because this is the premise for opening a type of live show business of foreign singers on the Vietnamese stage.

This type of business has potential. The proof is that many Vietnamese fans have "hunted" for tickets to see their idol Taylor Swift, even though her live show "The Eras Tour" took place in Singapore. With ticket prices ranging from 1.8 million to 6 million VND, Taylor Swift's fans can listen to 44 songs. Of course, in addition to the ticket price, Vietnamese fans also have to spend money on travel to Singapore. However, the female singer's fans are always ready to support, because besides attending the concert, this trip is also considered a vacation activity - the trend of event - related tours is currently popular with many people.

The most exciting thing recently has been the search for tickets for the concert "Born Pink World Tour" of the Korean band Blackpink taking place in Hanoi . Ticket prices range from 3 million to 9.8 million VND/ticket, making many people dizzy. But the ticket hunting fever continues and the ticket transfer market is just as exciting as the live show "The Eras Tour".

This image of a ticket fever also partly confirms that the demand for listening, watching and experiencing of Vietnamese audiences is increasing. Spending a lot of money to buy tickets is one thing, but the main thing is that the current audience wants to experience real quality.

Nowadays, the development of paid music platforms, shows that are always packed, physical albums such as vinyl records, CDs, cassettes... continuously sold out in a short time shows that the young audience is more aware and familiar with respecting copyright. This awareness of the audience is the basis for building a complete music industry. This is also the foundation for foreign stars to consider coming to Vietnam to perform instead of the fear in the past.

Bringing foreign stars to the Vietnamese stage is certainly not easy due to the constraints of many terms and requirements from partners. However, the enthusiasm of the audience and the mindset of experiencing valuable experiences by spending money on tickets clearly show that the "music star" business model is showing signs of returning after a long period of decline. How far it can go is still an unanswered question. However, these events have brought much hope for the faster development of Vietnamese music.
