The Korea Times Launches YouTube Channel "Howdy Korea"

“Howdy Korea” is a strategic project of The Korea Times, with the mission of introducing the language and cultural identity of the land of kimchi to the public in the region and international friends.

Founded on November 1, 1950, The Korea Times is the oldest of the three English-language dailies published in South Korea, owned by the Hankook Ilbo newspaper group.

The Korea Times is considered the "gateway to Korea" for English-speaking tourists and foreign diplomats; providing information on many fields such as politics , society, commerce, finance, culture and sports.

In July last year, The World and Vietnam Newspaper - the press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Korea Times signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance information sharing between the two sides.
