In addition to the participation of 100 ethnic minorities in the Village, the May activities also had about 25 Gia Rai ethnic artisans from Gia Lai province participating in the events on May 18 and 19.
In May, activities include the event “Following His Footsteps”, reenacting the Victory Celebration of the Gia Rai ethnic group in Gia Lai province, the folk song and dance program “Tay Nguyen with Uncle Ho, Uncle Ho with the Central Highlands”, “Song for Uncle Ho”, telling stories about Uncle Ho, exhibition space, photo exhibition about Uncle Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap, organizing Buddha’s Birthday… along with activities of ethnic groups living and working in the Village.
The people in the Village also introduce to visitors the unique cultural features of their people such as traditional crafts, traditional folk games, culinary culture with special dishes and other activities such as tea picking, weaving, making musical instruments, weaving handicrafts, brewing wine, processing traditional medicine...
In addition, there are daily and weekend activities of 16 ethnic communities, with experiential tourism programs, introduction of cake making and wrapping for tourists, folk games; activities to pray for peace and blessings at spiritual spaces of Khmer pagodas, Cham towers... to introduce the culture, customs and practices of the people, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
