Golden Hand Competition for Ho Chi Minh City Water Supply Industry: Handling Real-Life Situations

On the morning of November 15, Sawaco organized the contest "Golden Hands of Water Supply Workers in Ho Chi Minh City" in 2024 with the theme "Safe Water Supply - Responsibility and Dedication to Society".

This year's Golden Hands Contest aims to affirm the determination and strong commitment of Saigon Water Corporation Sawaco Limited in the goal of constantly improving and enhancing product quality and service quality to best serve the community.

City Water Supply always aims for customer consensus and trust in the industry's activities and gradually enhances its reputation and brand.

In particular, the contest is also one of many activities in a series of events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City water supply industry (1874 - 2024) and to achieve achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels in the coming time.

The contest's contents focus on knowledge of safe water supply, incident response, water industry techniques, water loss reduction, customer care and history of Ho Chi Minh City's water supply industry.

This year, in addition to 8 teams from affiliated units, member units, and associated units of the corporation, the contest was also honored to receive the attention and participation of friendly units from Can Tho Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited, Long An Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Water Supply Joint Stock Company.

In the two competitions, the Movement and the Golden Hand. The content of the Golden Hand competition related to checking and fixing chlorine leaks and wastewater treatment techniques through the Jartest experiment was considered very close to reality.

The content demonstrates the professional skills of water supply workers in handling incidents, ensuring safe water supply for people.

This competition, with the participation of units in the same profession in neighboring localities, is also a place for workers in the water supply industry to exchange and learn from each other. At the same time, the units strengthen solidarity to work towards the common goal of providing safe, clean, quality water to the community.
