The bodies of two children who drowned in Nam Hoa commune have been found.

After heavy rains on the night of June 29 and the morning of June 30, localized flooding occurred in Nam Hoa Commune (Dong Hy) and Linh Son Commune (Thai Nguyen City), with hundreds of households isolated by rising floodwaters. Notably, two children were swept away by floodwaters.

Upon receiving the news, the Provincial Military Command and Special Forces Battalion 20 (Military Region 1) mobilized nearly 100 officers and soldiers along with dozens of motorboats to the flooded area to search for victims' bodies, provide food, and evacuate deeply flooded households to safe areas.

By noon today (June 30), the forces had found the bodies of two children, TMH, born in 2014, and L.D.A, born in 2012, in Nam Hoa commune (Dong Hy). Currently, the floodwaters have gradually receded, but some households are still isolated, and the forces are making efforts to support the people.
