According to initial information, at 10:30 p.m. on October 26, at the S. spicy noodle shop (Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City), HTT (19 years old, residing in Dien Thang Commune, Dien Ban District, Quang Nam , restaurant employee) and another restaurant employee had a conflict with THV.
THV stabbed T. with a knife and then left. T. was taken to Da Nang General Hospital by the restaurant staff for emergency treatment with many injuries. At 3:00 a.m. on October 27, T.'s father, Mr. HTS, went to the Hoa Khanh Bac Ward Police Station to report the incident.
Receiving a telegram from Da Nang City, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police presided over and coordinated with Vinh Linh District Police to investigate and search for V. At 1:30 p.m. on October 27, while appearing in Vinh Thuy Commune (Vinh Linh District), V. was arrested by the police.
