From May 17-19, the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will have hot and very hot weather, with localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening; from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan, there will be little rain and sunny days.
From now until May 17, the Central Highlands and the South will have sunny days, with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Explaining the 'record' heat, each 'volcano' lasts 5-7 days
The peak of the heat wave is forecasted to be in June-July in the North, and June-August in the Central region. Each heat wave will last longer, with 5-7 days. Notably, due to El Nino, the number and intensity of storms this year will be less.
Nghe An breaks heat record with 44.2 degrees
On May 7, in Tuong Duong (Nghe An), the highest temperature measured was 44.2 degrees, surpassing yesterday's new record of 44.1 degrees set by Hoi Xuan (Thanh Hoa).
