TPO - During the 10th grade entrance exam, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City will be mostly sunny, with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of extreme weather such as tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. Be on guard against the possibility of heavy rain causing localized flooding.

This morning (June 5), nearly 99,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City completed procedures to take the 10th grade entrance exam in hot weather. The official exam will take place on June 6 and 7.

Regarding the weather situation in Ho Chi Minh City these days, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that the southwest monsoon is currently at medium intensity and will gradually become stronger from June 7.

Forecast from June 5-7, Ho Chi Minh City weather will be mostly sunny, thunderstorms are likely to appear in the afternoon and evening with a probability of 70-78%.

“Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Beware of heavy rain causing localized flooding,” the Southern Hydrometeorological Station forecast.

Meanwhile, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that yesterday (June 4), in the Southern region, there was hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius such as: Bien Hoa ( Dong Nai ) 37.3 degrees Celsius...; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 50-60%.

It is forecasted that on June 5-7, the Southern region will have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius, with some places above 36 degrees Celsius. The hot weather in the South is likely to last until June 8.

In addition, from the night of June 5 to June 13, the Southern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places (thunderstorms concentrated in the evening and at night).
