Although it is only March, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has recently announced the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday schedule on the school's official Facebook page.

Immediately, this announcement from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade received thousands of reactions (hearts, likes, surprise, laughter) along with many comments and shares.

Semester 2 starts from the 2nd week of March 2026 and ends in the first week of July 2026. Then comes the summer vacation and ends in the 2nd week of August 2026.

The Lunar New Year holiday schedule for Binh Ngo 2026 lasts 4 weeks from February 9, 2026 to March 8, 2026 (ie December 22 to January 21).

Every year, the school publishes its training plan so that students, staff and lecturers know it clearly. According to the schedule, students will start registering for courses this May, so it is necessary to publish the plan at this time.

This is the general plan for the year. As the holidays and Tet holidays approach, the school will continue to issue detailed and specific announcements so that students and employees are aware.

In recent years, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has been one of the universities that gives students the longest Tet holiday in the country, usually lasting 4 weeks.

The school has scheduled an extended Tet holiday to help students, staff, lecturers, employees and workers have time to rest and restore their working energy.

At the same time, to help people proactively avoid peak days before Tet when travel costs are high and traffic is overloaded, especially for those who are far from home.

To accommodate the extended Tet holiday, this school shortened its summer vacation.
