On the morning of November 28, at the citizen reception office of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa chaired the regular citizen reception for November 2024. Also attending were Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Le Vu Tuan Anh; leaders of the Department of Land, the Department of Legislation and the Ministry Office.
In compliance with legal regulations on citizen reception, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organizes regular citizen receptions on all working days of the week. Every month, the Ministry's leaders will directly receive citizens on the last Thursday of the month and conduct ad hoc receptions according to regulations to receive, answer and direct the timely resolution of complaints and denunciations of citizens in the field of Natural Resources and Environment.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa and functional units received a round of citizens complaining about land issues.
Specifically, the case of Ms. Du Thi Hop and a number of households in Dong Nguyen Ward, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province, complained about the fact that they have not yet been allocated service land while households with agricultural land have had their land reclaimed to implement projects while there have been plans and locations for land allocation for many years. The citizens requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to direct and inspect this matter.
After listening to citizens' opinions and answering questions and responding to citizens by the Ministry Inspectorate, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa affirmed that the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment always listen and will focus on directing affiliated units to resolve people's petitions and concerns related to the fields of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment according to their authority and legal regulations.
Regarding the case of Ms. Du Thi Hop and some households today, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa requested the Ministry Inspectors and functional units to focus on carefully studying the case file, on that basis advising the Ministry's leaders to issue a document requesting the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to request the organization of review, verification and response to citizens in accordance with legal regulations.
