According to a statement posted on the website of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs , the visit took place at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi, "the two leaders will discuss enhancing security and defense cooperation, expanding opportunities for talent exchange, deeper economic cooperation, sustainable development, as well as cooperation in emerging and strategic technology areas."

Discussions will also revolve around important regional and global issues.

In addition, the two Prime Ministers are scheduled to speak at the 18th Asia- Pacific German Business Conference (APK 2024) in New Delhi on October 25. The event attracts around 650 business leaders and executives from Germany, India and other countries.

In addition, Chancellor Scholz will visit Goa, where the German destroyer "Baden-Wuerttemberg" and the support ship "Frankfurt am Main" will make scheduled port calls.

Since the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2000, the relationship between the two countries has developed increasingly deeply and diversified in many fields. The two countries are about to celebrate 50 years of scientific and technological cooperation, marking an important turning point in bilateral relations.

Last year, Mr. Scholz made two visits to the South Asian country of one billion people, including a state visit in February and attending the G20 Summit in September.
