Tien Linh honored to receive the award 'Youth living beautifully'

Immediately after shining in Binh Duong Club's jersey with a brace to open the 2024 - 2025 V-League, striker Nguyen Tien Linh was honored to receive the 'Beautiful Youth' award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union 2024.

It is known that the "Beautiful Youth" award was initiated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union) in 2017 (first awarded in 2018) in an effort to honor good people and good deeds. In the 7th season, striker Nguyen Tien Linh was honored to be one of 18 faces honored for meaningful social activities. As the first Vietnamese to win the title of Top Scorer of the AFF Cup 2022, the 2023 Vietnam Silver Ball Nguyen Tien Linh, in addition to training and playing for Binh Duong Club and the Vietnam national team, often supports people in difficult circumstances across the country, with a total amount of nearly 200 million VND, for the period 2023 - 2024.

Most recently, the striker born in 1997 organized a charity football match to raise funds for the Binh Duong Red Cross Society, raising 8.8 billion VND, auctioning footballs and signed shirts for 730 million VND, bringing the total amount of money raised to 9.5 billion VND for the Binh Duong Red Cross Society to carry out charity projects. With his warm and meaningful actions in the past time, Tien Linh was honored to be elected as the Volunteer Ambassador of Binh Duong province. The "Beautiful Youth" award is a noble award of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, held annually, to honor exemplary young people who have jobs, noble deeds, and humanity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and sharing difficulties with the community and society; thereby building beautiful youth models, spreading good actions, beautiful stories, and motivating young people and the community to learn and follow.
Tien Linh took over the captain's armband of the Vietnamese team from his senior Do Hung Dung in the match against the Russian team.

This year, the Vietnam Youth Union in collaboration with TCP Vietnam Company awarded 18 awards to 18 outstanding individuals such as Ms. Vu Thi Hai Anh (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) who is an inspirational example for students and the disabled community as one of 107 valedictorians nationwide receiving the "Supporting Valedictorians" scholarship, commended by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education. It can be mentioned that Mr. Dong Van Tuan ( Nam Dinh ) used a wooden ladder to climb up to the 3rd floor window of the house in the fire in lane 43 Trung Kinh (Cau Giay, Hanoi), used a hammer to break the wall so that trapped victims could crawl out and save 3 lives; Mr. Nguyen Luong Ngoc is the Chairman of Saigon Xanh Club (HCMC) who has led the organization and implemented many environmental campaigns with strong influence, with more than 200 campaigns to collect 3,000 tons of waste on canals, with more than 10,000 volunteers participating... Surely the "Youth living beautifully" award presented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with TCP Vietnam Company will be an honor and a stronger motivation for Binh Duong Club captain Nguyen Tien Linh to strive to achieve high results in domestic tournaments, as well as the Vietnam team at the AFF Cup 2024 and the Asian Cup 2017 qualifiers.
