Báo Nhân dânBáo Nhân dân21/09/2024

This is a book about 21 Hungarian women who have made special contributions in the fields of science, society, economics , art and sports... The book is about their lives and motivations through the conversation of writer and journalist Szabó Attila Zoltan with these women. They are Hungary's first world-famous female chess grandmaster Krizsán Edith, the female athlete who set the world record for the deepest dive Korok Fatima, the famous singer Csepregi Éva, Hungary's first female professor specializing in ear, nose, throat and balance nervous system Professor Dr. Szirmai Ágnes, the female director of the Alfa Romeo car brand, the disabled athlete who won the Paralympic medal, or 107-year-old Gizella and some other characters.

In particular, Ms. Phan Bich Thien was invited by the author of the book to write the title for this book about women in the 21st century. The author portrayed Ms. Phan Bich Thien as a typical example of the connection between Vietnam and Hungary, between Asia and Europe, of her tireless dedication to promoting Vietnamese culture in Hungarian society.

Author Szabó Attila Zoltan is very pleased to introduce to readers the special contributions of these 21 inspirational women. He shared that Ms. Phan Bich Thien is a person who always puts the interests of the collective above personal interests and her role as a bridge has helped the Hungarian people get closer and understand more about Vietnam.

Speaking at the book launch in mid-September, Charge d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary, Mr. Le Trong Ha, highly appreciated this meaningful event and affirmed that this is a testament to the excellent integration of Dr. Phan Bich Thien in particular and the Vietnamese community in Hungary in general.

These will contribute significantly to the process of completing procedures for Vietnamese people in Hungary to be recognized as ethnic minorities, which the representative agency and the Association of Vietnamese people in Hungary are striving to do.

For her part, Ms. Phan Bich Thien shared her honor to be present with the inspirational women of Hungary. According to her, they are beautiful pieces of life, contributing their strength, intelligence and enthusiasm every day to the development of society, motivating everyone to overcome difficulties and move towards good things in life.

Particularly moved when listening to Ms. Phan Bich Thien share about the flood situation and the difficulties that the Vietnamese people are suffering, the author and the Organizing Committee agreed to transfer all the proceeds from the book sale at the launch, nearly 300,000 Forints (21 million VND), to support people in need in Vietnam. Chargé d'Affaires Le Trong Ha thanked the Hungarian readers for their kindness to the Vietnamese people.
