(NLDO) - The Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to have unseasonal rain today, with the highest temperature increasing by 1-2 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast, the general weather in Ho Chi Minh City and other Southern provinces today (February 19) will be cloudy, sunny during the day, with unseasonal rain continuing to appear and mainly showers in some places; there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some places (concentrated in the late afternoon and at night).
Northeast wind is at level 2-3. The lowest temperature is forecast to be from 23-26 degrees Celsius; the highest from 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above degrees Celsius (an increase of 1-2 degrees Celsius compared to the past days).
Today, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is still sunny with high temperatures during the day, however, there is a possibility of unseasonal rain in the late afternoon and evening.
In Ho Chi Minh City alone, the UV index in districts is still high - very high (level 6-10) and has also increased compared to yesterday.
In addition, the AirVisual application also warned that the concentration of fine dust in Ho Chi Minh City is many times higher than the level allowed by the World Health Organization (WHO), which is unsafe for people's health.
Therefore, people should limit going out during peak hours when the UV index is high; when going out, they should use sun protection measures, wear wide-brimmed hats, masks and sunglasses... to protect their health from the harmful effects of UV rays and fine dust that affect the skin and respiratory tract.
