On August 1, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches confirmed that an employee of the unit helped a tourist find a diamond ring on a beach in Da Nang city.

Previously, on the evening of July 31, a tourist from Australia posted a request for help on a foreign community group because her daughter dropped a diamond ring at Cua Dai beach, Hoi An Dong ward, Da Nang city.

Although it was outside of working hours, Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh (staff of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches) contacted and agreed to help this person find the property for free.

On the morning of August 1, Mr. Trinh and another person, an employee of the beach tourism management team of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches management board, followed the instructions of the above tourist to Cua Dai beach to search.

Because the tourist did not remember the area where the ring was dropped, the support staff dug sand and used specialized equipment to search on the shore and near the sea's edge.

After many hours of searching, a diamond ring worth more than 50 million VND was found underwater.

Previously on July 26, Mr. Trinh also helped two female tourists find their phones buried in sand while swimming in Da Nang beach.

Accordingly, before going into the water, the two tourists hid two iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 15 phones in their hats and buried them in the sand in front of Ong Tomb next to My Khe beach.

However, the high waves erased their traces, making it impossible to find them. Later, Mr. Trinh and members of the Son Tra Peninsula Management Board and Da Nang tourist beaches used metal detectors to find them.
