Honoring 19 individuals and groups at the Vietnam Glory 2025 Program

(Chinhphu.vn) - As of 2024, 110 groups and 184 individuals have been honored through the Vietnam Glory programs. In 2025, it is expected that 13 groups and 6 outstanding individuals will continue to be honored.

On the afternoon of June 16, Lao Dong Newspaper held a press conference to inform about the Vietnam Glory Program in 2025.

According to Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), the Vietnam Glory 2025 Program not only focuses on individuals and collectives with a long history of achievements but also aims at new factors, potential factors, demonstrating the nation's aspiration to rise up.

2025 is the 21st year that the Vietnam Glory program has been organized. Over the years, the program has been constantly innovated, promoting the spirit of honoring outstanding groups and individuals, thereby spreading and inspiring the community.

This year, the theme of the Program is "Pride and Aspiration". This theme reminds us of the proud historical journey of the nation since the founding of the Party and the Trade Union until now; at the same time, it arouses the spirit of aspiration to reach high and far of Vietnam in the period of integration and development.

As of 2024, 110 groups and 184 individuals have been honored through the Vietnam Glory programs. In 2025, it is expected that 13 groups and 6 outstanding individuals will continue to be honored.

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong added that the selection of individuals and collectives was based on three main criteria: Individuals and collectives with significant and especially important contributions in 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland; have excellently completed their tasks in recent years and have the potential to contribute in the future, especially in areas such as digital economy , green economy , innovation, sustainable development; advanced models with exemplary actions, highly appreciated by society, and positively inspiring the community.
