On the afternoon of December 1, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters in Hanoi , General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.
According to the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission, at the reception, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong believed that the visit would actively contribute to promoting cooperation between the two countries to become increasingly deeper, more substantive and effective.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong also highly appreciated the very positive developments in the relationship between the two Parties and countries, especially the outstanding achievements in the 15 years since the two countries established the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
