On December 16, the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam has just sent an official document to the press about safety when traveling to Korea.

Accordingly, the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam stated in the document that due to the establishment and lifting of martial law in Korea on the night of December 3 and early morning of December 4, a number of countries and foreign tourists have expressed concerns about safety when traveling to Korea.

Regarding the above issue, the representative office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam officially updated information on the situation in Korea. Specifically, on December 4, 2024, the Korean Government sent a diplomatic note to the embassies of countries in Korea announcing that the state of emergency martial law had been lifted through democratic procedures and the daily life of people in Korea had returned to normal, all tourism and economic activities were not affected in any way. Therefore, warning measures on travel restrictions are unnecessary.

Currently, all Korean tourist attractions are operating normally under the management and support of the government, and all tourism activities for Korean people and foreign tourists are taking place safely and smoothly.
