Hoi An's total production value in 6 months increased by 16.3%

In the first 6 months of the year, the Standing Committee of the Hoi An City Party Committee directed Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, Fatherland Fronts, and mass organizations to regularly monitor and grasp developments in ideology and social mood. Directed and guided the propaganda of major holidays and important events, especially the event of Hoi An joining the Global Creative Cities Network, the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the 15th anniversary of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An being recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve...

The entire City Party Committee admitted 56 new Party members (reaching approximately 51% of the target assigned by the province). Inspection and supervision work was regularly focused on, ensuring compliance with the Party Charter. Mass mobilization work was strengthened and had many creative activities, bringing about efficiency.

The leadership of socio -economic development has been promoted. The total production value reached nearly 3,686 billion VND, reaching 70.2% of the plan and increasing by 16.3% over the same period. The tourism - service - trade and industry - handicraft sectors increased significantly. The City Party Committee has focused on implementing the Action Program to implement Resolution No. 31 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Hoi An in the direction of a cultural - ecological - tourist city by 2030.

At the conference, Hoi An City Party Committee also reviewed 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources; reviewed 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 49 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat (12th tenure) on continuing to implement Directive No. 11 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in promoting learning, talent, and building a learning society.
