Notably, of the 12 retail product groups, 11 groups recorded an increase in revenue compared to the same period. In particular, the group of cars with less than 9 seats continued to decrease, with revenue in the first 7 months reaching 2,115 billion VND, down 3.5%.

In July alone, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the province was estimated at VND8,768 billion, up 2.5% over the previous month and 14.8% over the same period last year. This is the third consecutive month that the locality has recorded double-digit growth over the same period, showing a clear recovery in purchasing power and domestic consumption demand.
Specifically, retail sales of goods reached about VND5,933.8 billion, up 2.7% over the previous month and 10.4% over the same period; revenue from accommodation and catering services reached VND1,720 billion, up 2.4% over the previous month and 25.1% over the same period; revenue from tourism services reached VND42.9 billion, down 1.1% over the previous month but still up 50% over the same period; revenue from other services reached VND1,071.4 billion, up 1.3% over the previous month and 24.3% over the same period.
By product group, most of them had positive growth. Food and foodstuff group continued to play a key role with estimated revenue of VND2,393 billion, up 3.5% compared to the previous month and up 11.9% compared to the same period. Other groups with strong growth included: household appliances, tools, and equipment (up 13.4%), construction materials (up 15%).
The positive developments in the Thai Nguyen retail market show that consumer confidence is gradually recovering, contributing to boosting growth in domestic aggregate demand.
