The program took place over 1 day. In the morning, in Hoa Thanh town, the delegation visited and learned about the more than 100-year history of the Cao Dai religion at the Tay Ninh Holy See; explored the unique architecture of the ancient Go Ken - Thien Lam pagoda (Long Thanh Trung ward). The children were also excited to experience the process of making an incense stick at the Van Linh Huong incense production facility (Truong Tay commune).
After that, the group moved to Tay Ninh city to explore the culinary culture and life of the people along Tay Ninh canal. At Sen 7 restaurant (Ward 3), the children learned about Northern cuisine in Tay Ninh with La Vong fish cakes, Vu Dai village braised fish, Nam Dinh market…; together they prepared mixed rice paper – a specialty of Tay Ninh, and made their own rice balls and lime juice to serve everyone.
After a relaxing lunch at the Sala Entertainment and Food Court (Ward 4), the group visited the ancient house of Governor Nguyen Van Kien, which is over 130 years old (Ward 3); visited the Thien Hau Thanh Mau and Quan Thanh De Quan temples (Ward 2) to better understand the spiritual life of the Chinese people here.
In particular, at the destinations, children participate as tour guides to introduce the history, culture and characteristics so that everyone can understand better.
This is a free program invested by Huong Sen Viet Tourism Service Trading Company Limited to create conditions for students and parents to learn more about the culture, spiritual life, architecture and cuisine of Tay Ninh. Through that, the company will design a suitable tour program for children, helping them understand more about Tay Ninh, love Tay Ninh more and promote the image and people of Tay Ninh to everyone.
