Sending love at the "I love Vietnam" Golf Tournament

The 3rd "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament - 2025 organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will officially take place on June 28 at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course (HCMC).

About 144 golfers will compete.

Held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the tournament contributes to maintaining a useful playground for golfers nationwide.

Community Service Program

The "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament is also an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate solidarity and compassion, contributing to building a strong and cohesive golfer community, while creating positive impacts on society.

Mr. Bui Thanh Liem - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament - 2025 - informed: "The tournament will be held at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course on June 28 with the participation of many professional and amateur athletes, both domestic and international. Many partner businesses and accompanying units have agreed to support the Organizing Committee to make the tournament a great success".

All proceeds from the prize, after deducting the organization costs, will be contributed to two social and community service programs with humanitarian and service significance, including: "Proud of the National Flag" Program and "Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper Scholarship" Program.

The attraction of the prize

Up to this point, the total prize value has reached billions of VND, with many technical prizes: Best Gross, first - second - third in each group, Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, Nearest to the Line... Especially 2 Hole-in-One prizes with a total value of over 7 billion VND including 2 VinFast VF9 cars (1.499 billion VND/car), Honma Beres 09 golf club set (1.8 billion VND), Ngoc Linh Tumorong ginseng wine bottle (2.3 billion VND) and Stay and Play combo package in Kunming - China (4 days 3 nights) worth 30,400,000 VND/hole sponsored by golf tourism company Focus Group (total of 4 holes).

At this year's award ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the "Wings of Love" program of the Lao Dong Newspaper will present the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Agent Orange Victims with 100 million VND (from the profits from the sale of the book "30 Years of Journalism" by author - journalist - Dr. To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper); and at the same time present 5 Agent Orange victims with 1 gift and 1 million VND each.

Also at the gala, the "Circle of Love" program will receive a donation of 100 million VND from Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank), equivalent to 625 copies of the book "30 Years of Journalism". These books were authorized by Nam A Bank and presented to the Lao Dong Newspaper to frontline officers and soldiers who are working day and night to protect the borders and islands of the Fatherland.

Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is known to golfers as one of the top golf courses in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the country in general. This is the only 36-hole golf course in Ho Chi Minh City on a total area of over 150 hectares. All 4 courses A, B, C and D have 9 golf holes/course according to PGA standards, ensuring the number of playing clubs on each course is 36.
