Funding for the repair of 2 "Union Shelters"

On August 1, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation organized a fund to repair 2 "Union Shelters" for 2 union members of the Provincial Industrial Parks Union.

Accordingly, 2 union members received support for house repairs: Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy, Trade Union of Minh Thanh Phat Trading and Service Company Limited; Vu Thi Hue, Trade Union of Phu Hung Import-Export Production Joint Stock Company. The level of financial support for house repairs is 25 million VND/house/union member.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented funds for house repairs to union members.

In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation also presented gifts to union members' families, worth 1 million VND/member (photo below).

The program "Union Shelter" has been a prominent activity of Lao Cai province's trade unions for many years.

To implement the program, trade unions at all levels in the province conducted surveys and requested the Provincial Labor Federation to allocate funds from the "Trade Union Social" Fund to help hundreds of union members' families in difficult circumstances build and repair houses. From there, it helps union members stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work, and become more connected and confident in the union organization.
