The house was built in My Quy commune, Dong Thap province, with a usable area of 67 m², solid structure with brick walls and corrugated iron roof. The total construction cost was 85 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund - Dong Thap branch supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
Mr. Bui Truong Giang is the main breadwinner in a family of 5. His wife does not have a stable job and is raising 3 young children (born in 2009, 2017 and 2024). With an income of about 8 million VND/month, the family faces many difficulties and cannot save to build a house. Previously, the whole family lived in a temporary house that was seriously degraded, with a sinking foundation, rotten walls, leaks, and was especially dangerous during the rainy and stormy season.
