Launching 2 free tours in "Journey to explore Bac Ninh heritage"

NDO - Starting from the morning of March 8, Bac Ninh province will organize 2 free tours to serve the people and tourists to have real experiences at tourist attractions, traditional craft villages, typical historical-cultural relics in the area; at the same time, promote tourist destinations, arouse national pride and unique cultural traditions of the locality.

According to Plan 438/KH-SVHTTDL issued by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh on the afternoon of March 7, the province will organize free tours (sample tours) in 2025.

Specifically:

Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum - But Thap Pagoda - Dau Pagoda - Dong Ho Painting Village - Do Temple - Nam Hong Royal Museum - Bac Ninh Museum.

Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum - Phat Tich Pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum - Phu Lang Pottery Village - Nguyen Cao Temple - Dien Quang Pagoda - Bac Ninh Museum.

The event will be held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) starting from March 8, 2025 to the end of June 2025. Departure time is 8:00 a.m. every day and ends at 5:30 p.m.

The vehicles will pick up guests at the departure point at Bac Ninh Museum (No. 2 Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City). The means of transport is a high-quality 45-seat vehicle. Each tour has 2 vehicles/day (4 trips/day).

Previously, on March 5, at the meeting of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in March held on the morning of March 7, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan directed departments and branches to advise the province to organize 2 free tours (sample tours) to suggest, orient and encourage travel businesses to exploit the elements of traditional cultural and artistic heritage to build tourism products.

Along with that, support 14 tourist destinations in the province to synchronize tools, environmental sanitation facilities and synchronize the sign system to ensure environmental sanitation, contributing to improving the landscape of the destination. Organize the installation of free wifi systems, install tourist information stations at 14 tourist destinations in the province and key relic sites.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also assigned the Department of Construction to study and propose a pilot bus route connecting Hanoi (Long Bien Bridge) to typical tourist destinations of the province. Coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to advise on arranging bus routes (free buses), implementing the theme "Journey to discover the heritage land of Bac Ninh" to support local people and tourists in the process of visiting typical historical-cultural relics in the province.
