On the afternoon of July 17, PPA Tour Asia announced the first-ever rankings for competition events in Asia, in which Trinh Linh Giang is the number 1 tennis player with 1,000 points.

Trinh Linh Giang won the men's singles championship of PPA Tour Asia - Malaysia Open 2025 in mid-July in Kuala Lumpur. In his first time participating in the tournament, Linh Giang took the highest position.

Defeated by Linh Giang in the professional men's singles final, Indian player Vanshik Kapadia ranked second with 800 points, followed by Wong Hong Kit (Hong Kong) with 600 points.

Linh Giang's victory delighted Vietnamese pickleball players, thereby affirming the development and progress of pickleball after only one year of strong development.

In addition to Trinh Linh Giang's professional men's singles championship, Vietnamese pickleball also has the under-18 men's doubles championship title of Tong Nhat Minh and Le Xuan Duc.

In the professional women's singles category, Long Yufei (China) ranked first with 1,000 points. Meanwhile, Vanshik Kapadia always ranked first in the doubles teams.

After the first time organizing with stage 1 in Malaysia, PPA Tour Asia started to accumulate points for professional athletes to serve as a basis for evaluating their ability for the next stage.

The remaining four legs will be held in Hong Kong (China), Japan and return to Malaysia in October 2025. PPA Tour Asia has abandoned China and may replace it with Vietnam.
