Duc Hoa Commune Public Administration Service Center supports the implementation of nearly 300 social pension benefit applications

On July 19, Duc Hoa Commune Public Administration Service Center (Tay Ninh province) organized working groups to go directly to hamlets and neighborhoods to support people in completing procedures to receive social pension benefits according to Decree No. 176/2025/ND-CP, dated June 30, 2025 of the Government.

People of Duc Hoa commune are supported to complete social pension procedures right at the locality, helping to save time and travel costs.

Three support points are located at Duc Hoa Commune Cultural House (Ward 2), Binh Tien 2 Hamlet Cultural House and Hamlet 1A Cultural House.

From early morning, the Center's staff enthusiastically guided people to prepare documents and answered questions related to conditions and procedures to receive benefits.

According to regulations, Vietnamese citizens are entitled to social pension benefits when meeting three conditions: Being 75 years old or older; not receiving monthly pension or social insurance benefits or receiving monthly pension or social insurance benefits lower than the pension level prescribed in the Decree (VND 500,000/month); having a written request to receive social pension benefits.

For those in poor and near-poor households, the age requirement is only 70 years old to under 75 years old. In case they are also eligible for monthly social allowance, they will receive a higher allowance.

Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Director of Duc Hoa Commune Public Administration Service Center Nguyen Minh Tam said: "With the motto of building a friendly government, serving the people, organizing support on Saturday helps people save time and travel costs. Thereby, we have supported the implementation of nearly 300 records in just one day. This is an effort to improve service quality, better meet the needs of people, especially vulnerable groups, in handling administrative procedures."

The initiative to bring public services to residential areas clearly demonstrates the service spirit of the grassroots government, contributing to ensuring social security and spreading the humane policies of the Party and State to the people in a practical and effective way./.
