Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and presented gifts to the families of Dien Bien soldiers in Ham Tan

BTO-On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the afternoon of April 26, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Dang Hong Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and presented gifts to families of Dien Bien soldiers and frontline laborers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in Ham Tan district.

Accompanying were representatives of the leadership of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Veterans Association and representatives of the Standing Committee of Ham Tan District Party Committee.

Specifically, the delegation visited the family of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - a frontline worker in Ward 1, Tan Minh town and visited the families of Dien Bien soldiers Ngo Xuan Tung in Ward 2, Tan Minh town; Pham Xuan Doai - Ward 8, Tan Nghia town; Tran Xuan Ngoc - Dong Ha village, Tan Ha commune.

At the families visited, on behalf of the Provincial Delegation, Mr. Dang Hong Sy - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, kindly asked about the health and life of the families of the frontline workers and Dien Bien soldiers. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Dien Bien soldiers and frontline workers who contributed to the victory of Dien Bien Phu with the whole country. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission hoped that the families of the Dien Bien soldiers and frontline workers would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, and that their children and grandchildren would follow the example of working and studying well, contributing to the cause of building and developing their homeland to become more and more prosperous and beautiful.

At the places visited, Mr. Dang Hong Sy presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the families and relatives and together with the members of the delegation, burned incense in memory of the Dien Bien soldiers and frontline workers who passed away.

Relatives of the families expressed their gratitude for the attention, visits and encouragement of the Provincial Working Group and promised to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, contributing their intelligence and efforts to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.
