On the morning of July 20, commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery (Anh Son commune) and Truong Bon National Historical Site (Bach Ha commune, Nghe An).

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, comrade Le Minh Hung and delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense at the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh and the Heroic Martyrs, commemorating the merits and sacrifices of previous generations.

Comrade Le Minh Hung offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery.

The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery was built in 1976, covering an area of nearly 7 hectares, and is home to nearly 11,000 graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts from 27 provinces and cities across the country who died on the battlefield in Laos. This is the only cemetery in Vietnam named after two countries, and it has become a sacred symbol of the loyal and steadfast solidarity of Vietnam and Laos.

On this occasion, the Central delegation presented the "Gratitude" Fund to Nghe An province with 300 million VND, contributing to caring for and showing gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions.

Next, the delegation led by comrade Le Minh Hung went to Truong Bon National Historical Site to commemorate the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteers.

Here, comrade Le Minh Hung and the delegation respectfully and emotionally offered flowers and incense at the mass grave of 13 Youth Volunteers of Company 317, Team 65, Youth Volunteers General Team against America to save the country in Nghe An province.

Next, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Memorial House of 1,240 martyrs who sacrificed their lives on Truong Bon land.

On the morning of July 20, the delegation led by comrade Le Minh Hung also came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate General Secretary Le Hong Phong at the National Monument - General Secretary Le Hong Phong Memorial Site in Nguyen Nam commune, Nghe An province.
