Dalat University opens Central Highlands Documentation Space

On the evening of October 20, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment and development of Dalat University (1958-2023), Dalat University officially opened and put into operation the Central Highlands Documentation Space to serve readers, students and researchers.

The Central Highlands Documentation Space of Dalat University opened and put into operation on October 20.

According to Dr. Le Minh Chien, Principal of Dalat University, the Central Highlands Documentation Space initially has more than 1,300 traditional documents and more than 3,000 electronic documents about the land and people of the Central Highlands. This is a valuable source of reference materials for the school's staff, lecturers and students to exploit for teaching, learning and research.

Here, valuable sources of documents from many generations of domestic and foreign researchers about the Central Highlands are continuously and comprehensively collected, with high value in many fields and in many different specialties.

Receiving documents donated to the Central Highlands Documentation Space

According to Mr. Chien, the Central Highlands Documentation Space is also a valuable document repository for people, researchers, and students from universities and colleges to come and find information, research, and share; at the same time, contribute documents about the Central Highlands, best meeting the research and study needs of the scientific community at home and abroad.

Mr. Chien added that in the coming time, Dalat University will continue to collect, supplement, and digitize to enrich the Central Highlands Document Space to contribute to preserving and promoting the unique values of the land and people of the Central Highlands.
