According to new regulations, from January 1, 2025, commercial vehicles operating at kindergartens and schools must be dark yellow and equipped with protective gear and military protection.
According to Clause 1, Article 46 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order 2024, from January 1, 2025, commercial vehicles transporting preschool children and students must meet the following requirements:
Ensure the conditions specified in Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 35 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order 2024; have equipment to record images of preschool children, students and equipment with warning functions, preventing children from being left behind in the vehicle; have a usage period of no more than 20 years; have paint colors according to Government regulations.
Cars carrying preschool children or primary school students must have age-appropriate seat belts or use vehicles with age-appropriate seats as required by law.
According to Article 30 of Decree 151/2024/ND-CP of the Government, vehicles used for transporting preschool children and students must be painted dark yellow on the outside of the vehicle; the front and two sides of the vehicle above the windows must have signs identifying them as vehicles specifically used for transporting preschool children and students.
