Important notes when applying

To ensure a smooth enrollment process, parents should visit: https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn/. Here is a complete guide to the enrollment process for each age group.

Each student will have a separate enrollment code, issued by the school the student attends in the 2024-2025 school year. Near the end of the 2024-2025 school year, preschools have issued codes to parents whose children are entering grade 1, and elementary schools have issued codes to students preparing to enter grade 6. Parents need to keep the enrollment code and password absolutely confidential, and carefully check information about academic results and place of residence to ensure consistency between records and electronic data.

During the registration process, if parents need assistance, they can contact the homeroom teacher or school board directly. Parents can also look up information and hotline numbers at the Hanoi City Primary School Admissions Portal: http://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn for support.

In addition, schools have been directed to arrange a permanent department to support and answer all questions during and outside of office hours, promptly handling arising situations.

To ensure the right candidates, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires schools to make a list of students applying for admission according to their area, coordinate with the commune-level police to verify their residence, and absolutely not require parents to submit a certificate of residence or notify the identification code.

With a large scale and diverse needs, Hanoi city has directed schools to fully prepare facilities, classrooms, technological equipment and human resources, ensuring the enrollment process takes place on schedule, safely and effectively.

In the context of the new administrative organization starting to operate, the Hanoi Education sector is making efforts, being proactive, responsible and committed to accompanying and providing maximum support to parents with a spirit of careful preparation, ensuring that no student is left behind.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the city plans to enroll 95,000 preschool children; 52,000 kindergarten children (5 years old); 155,000 first graders and 161,000 sixth graders.
