(QNO) - From June 26 to June 30, Quang Nam General Hospital coordinated with the Japan - Korea Cleft Lip and Palate Organization to provide free examination and surgery for people with cleft lip and palate in the province and neighboring provinces.
The surgical team included 5 professors and doctors from Japan and maxillofacial specialists from Quang Nam General Hospital.
Experts will conduct screening, consultation and diagnosis of diseases such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and maxillofacial diseases for all registered patients.
After screening, those who meet the health requirements will be operated on immediately in this batch, with an expected number of 30 people. All costs will be sponsored by the hospital and the Japan-Korea Cleft Lip and Palate Organization.
The free surgery program signed by the Japan - Korea Cleft Lip and Palate Organization with Quang Nam General Hospital started in 2000, aiming to bring natural smiles and a bright future to those unfortunate enough to suffer from cleft lip and palate deformities, especially children.
