The Indonesian team tried hard to equalize the gap and fiercely chased the Vietnamese team in the first set. However, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team ended the match with a 25-18 victory.

In the second set, the Indonesian team changed their tactics. They pushed the ball to the main attacker Megawati. In addition, Indonesia's serves were also very powerful, exposing the weakness of the Vietnamese women's team's first set. Indonesia continuously led Vietnam in this set. The two teams fought for victory when the score reached 25-25. In the end, the stability helped the home team defeat Vietnam 27-25.

In the deciding set, the two teams competed for every point. The Vietnamese team tried to maintain their lead to end the set with a score of 15-13. The Vietnamese women's team won the championship after defeating the host team 3-2. The championship will help the Vietnamese team qualify for the 2023 FIVB Challenger Cup in France.
