On May 28, comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to reports on handling difficulties in Industrial Parks (IPs) and Industrial Clusters (ICs) in the province.

At the meeting, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Industrial Park Management Board reported and proposed solutions to problems in land allocation, land lease, infrastructure in Quang Son Industrial Cluster, Thanh Hai Industrial Park and related issues. Currently, in the province, there are 2 industrial clusters in Quang Son and Thap Cham that have completed infrastructure, 3 industrial clusters are in the investment process. Currently, there are 2 investors registered in Quang Son Industrial Cluster, but because there is no land rental price, businesses are still waiting; infrastructure needs to continue to be invested and completed to attract secondary investors. For Thanh Hai Industrial Park, there are problems in land use conversion, infrastructure needs to be upgraded, especially the wastewater treatment area.

Comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Through some difficulties in the investment situation in industrial zones and clusters, the province has worked with relevant sectors and units to gradually remove them, create conditions, and attract businesses to invest in industrial zones and clusters.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board to urge contractors to complete the infrastructure of Thanh Hai Industrial Park; proactively coordinate with localities to strictly complete land legal procedures; propose to convert rice land in Thanh Hai Industrial Park. Sectors and localities should develop regulations and management apparatus for operating industrial parks, unify management units, receive documents, handle and resolve difficulties for enterprises; promptly evaluate infrastructure, finalize investment projects to determine land rental prices; pay attention to allocating capital for repairing and maintaining infrastructure, supplementing land use plans, completing infrastructure, arranging land for enterprises to lease and use, and promote the effectiveness of investment in industrial parks and industrial parks.
