The Ukrainian Foreign Minister affirmed that Ukraine values friendship and cooperation with Vietnam and welcomes Vietnam's stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son affirmed that as a friend of Russia and Ukraine, Vietnam consistently maintains a balanced and objective stance in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, emphasizing that all disputes need to be resolved by peaceful means, in accordance with the fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations Charter; supports and is ready to participate in mediation efforts of the international community to seek a long-term peaceful solution to the conflict with the participation of all relevant parties.
