Video : Anti-aircraft artillery and missile positions before live-fire drill
On October 17, at the national shooting range region 1 ( Bac Giang ), the Air Defense - Air Force began organizing tactical exercises with live ammunition for the air defense force in 2024, with the participation of missile troops and anti-aircraft artillery.
The tactical exercise with live fire of the air defense force aims to comprehensively inspect and evaluate the training and combat readiness of air defense units, the quality of weapons, equipment and technical support.
The exercise also aims to improve the level of command organization, combat capabilities, combat operations of each officer, soldier and coordination of combat crews, especially at night and in complex situations... From there, draw experience, organize training for troops close to reality and the development direction of modern warfare in the following years.
In order for the exercise to take place as planned, achieving the set goals and requirements, the Air Defense - Air Force Service and the participating units have done a good job of preparation, from maneuvering and calibrating equipment, preparing for combat; practicing target capture; coordinating with localities to ensure safety during shooting; completing all preparations for live-fire practice at TB1 shooting range.
Along with that, the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the exercise of the Army have fully prepared the contents to conduct the exercise scientifically , strictly, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
In the afternoon of the same day, the troops conducted some live-fire exercises in the exercise plan.
