The High School for the Gifted - Ho Chi Minh City National University has just announced an adjustment in admission time for 10th grade students.

According to the announcement, on June 19, the school issued a notice on the admission process and procedures for students admitted to grade 10, school year 2025 - 2026. Accordingly, admitted candidates will need to perform Step 2 (Submit application directly to the school) from June 26, 2025 to June 29, 2025.

However, in order to facilitate candidates and ensure the same time for confirming admission to grade 10 at specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City, the Gifted High School has adjusted the time for implementing the steps in the admission process, with the following specific information:

The reason for the adjustment of the admission time is because tomorrow morning (June 23), the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the admission scores for two specialized schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. The adjustment of the time is to create conditions for candidates who are admitted to both the Gifted High School and another specialized school (Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted) to choose to confirm their admission to the school as desired.

According to the Gifted High School, in the above case (admitted to two schools at the same time), candidates need to choose and decide immediately on June 23, 24 and 25. If choosing Le Hong Phong or Tran Dai Nghia High School, follow the instructions of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. If you have decided to enroll in the Gifted High School, do not click to confirm online enrollment on the systems of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, and complete Steps 1 and 2 in Notice No. 4.

For students in other provinces outside of Ho Chi Minh City, they can enroll directly on June 28 and 29. For candidates who have passed the Gifted High School entrance exam but not other specialized schools, they can enroll on June 23-24-25 or June 28-29.
