Vietnam invites Chinese, Lao and Cambodian armies to participate in parades and marches

On the morning of April 1, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense , Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of National Defense , had a meeting with defense attaches from China, Laos and Cambodia in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien assessed that in recent times, defense cooperation between Vietnam and China, Laos and Cambodia has been continuously promoted in prominent areas such as delegation exchanges, training, military cooperation, border defense friendship exchanges, etc.

Mr. Chien said that Vietnam is preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is a major political event for Vietnam, and also a common joy for international friends who have given sincere and wholehearted help to the Vietnamese revolution. Vietnam always remembers that great help, especially from the three countries of China, Laos and Cambodia.

Deputy Minister Hoang Xuan Chien announced that Vietnam will send invitations to the leaders of the Chinese, Lao and Cambodian Ministries of Defense to attend the 50th anniversary of national reunification, as well as invite the Ministries of Defense of the three countries to send military units to participate in the parade at the celebration.

"Vietnam highly expects and believes that the participation of the three countries' Defense Ministries will make an important contribution to the success of the celebration as well as demonstrate the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and the three neighboring countries with adjacent borders," said Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien.

At the meeting, the defense attachés of China, Laos and Cambodia in Vietnam emphasized the important significance of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, and affirmed that they would promptly report back to the country and advise domestic authorities to promote the contents that Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien had mentioned.
