According to Neowin , in his latest Power On report on Bloomberg, Mark Gurman said that Apple has internally discussed a price range of $1,500 to $2,500 for the low-cost Vision Pro. Even if this price is much cheaper than $3,499, it is still three times higher than the price of the newly launched Meta Quest 3 glasses, which start at just $499.99.
The low-cost version of Vision Pro will cost between $1,500 and $2,500.

To keep the price down, Gurman said the cheaper Vision Pro will feature a lower-resolution display than the first-generation model, along with a processor based on the iPhone family of chips rather than the Mac CPU. This cheaper version may also have fewer external cameras and sensors, and may remove the Eyesight feature that projects images of the wearer’s eyes onto an external display.
Of these, the removal of Eyesight is considered a positive point as many people feel that looking into someone's eyes while they are wearing mixed reality glasses like Vision Pro is a bit creepy.
Gurman’s previous report said that Apple was working on a next-generation Vision Pro with many of the same high-end features but in a smaller and lighter design. This is good news because some users were said to have experienced neck strain while wearing the first-generation Vision Pro due to its weight.
